The Good Word

I'm a 20-something, newly graduated from Hillsdale College. I majored in English and Classics, but I ought to have an honorary doctorate in pop culture. I love Muppets, songs which showcase the keyboard, VH1, and would be willing to join anyone planning a Boy Meets World complete-series marathon.

I now live in Colorado Springs, Colorado, teaching English and Latin to middle schoolers.

The Good Word began as a way for me to keep in touch with family when I moved last summer, and after lying dormant for awhile this winter, I've returned with a redesign and a new WordPress blog. I post daily on various subjects including pop culture, literature, and theology. Hopefully, you'll find something you'll enjoy here.

 

This is my first time living on my own, in a brand new city, half way across the country from where I was born, I'm also currently going through RCIA classes and preparing to enter the Catholic Church at Easter.
